The Concept

SICHUAN KITCHEN - a specialty restaurant showcasing pork-free Sichuan cuisine at best, featuring our signature 'hot pot' feast and numerous Sichuan specialties. The restaurant concept speaks through a vibrant setting of family-oriented dining with subtle modern elements and multiple private rooms, complemented by an organic yet flavourful menu and a unique bar scene with inspirations from the region. Sichuan Kitchen accommodates up to 150 persons for a comfortable capacity allowing guests to enjoy a truly sensorial dining experience.

 

ONE POT, A MILLION FLAVOURS
Flavours are the mind, body, and soul of the traditional Sichuan cuisine. Bold, spicy, flowery, salty, sour, sweet, bitter, and smoky flavours combined in one dish creating an incredibly complex yet well-rounded palette. It is much like a harmonious symphony made of different tones, beats, and instruments.

 

INSPIRED BY ANCIENT ROOTS, GIVING IT A MEANINGFUL MODERN TWIST
Biàn Liàn, a theatrical art of the ancient Chinese Sichuan Opera which has become one of their cultural heritage. The core elements of the performance are vibrant costumes and a variety of vividly coloured masks changing at a fast pace to dramatic music. We put an emphasis on the masks as a symbol of one person with many faces which translates to a spoonful of many flavours while extracting its visually stimulating and theatrical aspects.

 

A BONDING EXPERIENCE AROUND ONE TABLE, AND ONE DISH
The pot and clinking chopsticks, the past, present, and future, the laughs and heart to hearts, the warm atmosphere and memories. This cuisine embodies a very essential traditional cultural value. Not merely a social dining experience, hotpot has become a vehicle for cultural cohesion and a mentalistic tool for a harmonious community. It brings people of unique tastes and stories together around one simmering pot.
